Participants also enjoyed a cultural and educational tour, visiting the Academy of Music, Catholic Theological Faculty, and Faculty of Islamic Studies, where they learned about Sarajevo’s academic and cultural heritage.
The week’s highlight was the 14th Scholarship Fair – UNSA Study Expo, held at the Rectorate on 23 October 2024. The Fair was opened by Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, who emphasised its importance in connecting institutions, embassies, and organisations that provide study and professional development opportunities. France was the guest country, represented by the Embassy of France, French Institute, and Campus France.
H.E. Mr. François Delmas, Ambassador of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, praised the event as a symbol of academic partnership and European unity. Vice-Rector Durić highlighted that the Fair remains unique in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together more than 50 exhibitors and offering students first-hand information about scholarships and exchanges.
The 12th Staff Week and Scholarship Fair once again showcased Sarajevo as a hub of academic cooperation and cultural exchange, reinforcing the University of Sarajevo’s role as a strong European partner in higher education.
