Exams

A final examination, exam, final interview, or simply final test is given to students at the end of a course of study (sometimes during classes). Although the term can be used in physical training, it most often occurs in the academic world. The University of Sarajevo runs final exams at the end of a particular academic term (semester), typically a quarter or semester, or traditionally at the end of a complete degree course.

To be eligible for testing, most member institutions of the University of Sarajevo require that you register for exams. When you begin your studies, we recommend that you inquire about how and when to register for exams in the department(s) where you are studying. Note that the procedure and deadline may vary depending on the department. It is essential that you register correctly and in due time for exams as you will otherwise not be allowed to take the exam(s).

Students are assessed at the University of Sarajevo after taking one of the following types of examinations or active participation. In addition, some courses may require the successful completion of written and oral assignments during the semester.
