The objective of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about health and nursing care in elderly. The course is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to understand the importance of considering a process of nursing and healthcare in elderly. Student will be able to work through nursing process; identify the physical, psychological and social needs of elderly, formulate nursing diagnoses, goals, nursing care plan, implement interventions, and document and evaluate elderly nursing care. Quality management in healthcare

The objective of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about quality and quality in healthcare. The course is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to understand the importance of considering a process approach in healthcare, a quality management system, and understanding the complex relationships in the healthcare delivery process. Student will be competent to assess the quality of health care and identify critical points in the process of health care delivery using quality tools and the ability to take corrective action.
