About the programme
Pharmacy students will typically take modules focusing on chemistry, human biology and physiology, pharmaceutics (how medicines are made) and pharmacology (how drugs interact with the body). Most pharmacy degrees combine academic research with more vocational training, such as learning about legal and ethical issues, and how to interact with patients.

Teaching methods include lectures, seminars and personal tutorials, practical sessions, guest speakers. This is all arranged in correlation with lectures/professors. You will also spend a significant amount of time in doing personal study.

Lectures and exams are done in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian. Special arrangement(s) of studies (tutorials, paper work, mentorship, research, final exam) can be made with foreign students, but you have to check with the Faculty coordinator.

Assessment is by courseware, classroom tests and examinations. Group learning, teamwork, individual work and communication skills are assessed through design group studies and reports as well as presentations. Practical work is also a part of the examinatiList of ons.
